"The hot tub was cold and low of water, the first room we were in the shower the water barely came out of the shower head, and the carpet floors need a good deep clean throughout the entire hotel..the hotel is dated and needs a good remodel. It does have perks of being right on a small beach of sand and next to good bars and restaurants and being close to attractions. The staff were excellent and good food at the restaurant in the hotel.. nice to have starbucks there too. "

"My original reservation was canceled because the charge that was not suppose to happened happend even though I checked the box saying pay on site. The young woman at the counter did not know what she was doing therfore I did not receive my military discount. There were NO nightmanagers on the evening shift to fix mine or others peoblems. The room was nice, however the balcony door was screwed shut. "

"My stay was one of the worst I have ever experienced. There was a person under the influence of drugs screaming day and night right next to my room, and several others drinking and using drugs on the stairs. The facilities themselves require massive improvement; for instance, the back door leading to the small balcony had no lock, and the stairs are practically falling apart, with several old, loose planks. The only redeeming aspects of this place were the air conditioning, the shower, and its proximity to the beach. If you have children or are traveling as a family, think twice: this hotel is not family-friendly; it is, quite simply, too dangerous."

"We understand maintenance issues happen. We had no running water and no AC throughout our stay. It’s been almost a month and I had to chase my credit/refund."

"The room itself was very clean and modern. You’re definitely getting your moneys worth. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk. Having breakfast included is a big plus. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely will book with them again. "

"Property is fairly new and well maintained. Pool is small and breakfast options were very limited. Coffee machine ground and brewed individual coffee cups, fruit juices and still/sparkling water available on demand in the lobby. Exercise equipment and comfortable seating areas are on 2nd floor. Daily housekeeping for rooms but guests have to ask at desk for extra shampoos/soaps if they stay more than 1 night. Overall very nice stay and excellent location for restaurants and easy access to downtown area and Padre Island."
