"The suite we booked was outstanding… spacious, pristine, calming and comfortable. We had a difficult time leaving it! It had numerous full length windows overlooking the river, which provided a tranquil view of the water and passing boats. We were on the main floor, off of the Library, where every evening, port was set out for the guests, as were fruit and fruit-infused water each morning. "This hotel has to be one of the best examples of price/performance that I have stayed in in Germany. The staff was awesome, the breakfast buffet was the best I have had in a while, the price point of the rooms was great. Also the location to the Wittenberg Platz UBahn, directly next to KaDeWe and the Kufürstendam, and 10-15 minutes to the Aquarium and Zoo makes the Mercure unbeatable in my eyes. Thank you to everyone there!"

"Gorgeous rooms, beautifully appointed, high ceilings and spacious. Fabulous buffet breakfast and lots of nooks to have a drink or a meal. A short walk to Gendarmenmarkt and the U-Bahn. "

"Great hotel in perfect location. A lot of sites within walking distance and otherwise U2 station is next door to go to Alexanderplatz or Charlottenburg castle. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Theatre am Potsdam with the new Cirque du Soleil show. Room spacious and staff very friendly. "

For the price everything was great value for money, the room, cleanliness and convenience of being close to Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Will be staying here again when in Berlin."

"This hotel is well located for the station and central Berlin. Easy to get around. Hotel itself is basic , no frills room. Only drawback is description states a King Bed, Reality is two singles side by side with two singe duvets which i"m not a fan off. Nice hotel bar which is 24 hours which is a plus. Would defiantly stay here again though. "
