better that expected

I stayed for 2 nights. It was a lot better than I had expected. The room was clean, front desk people were really polite and was happy with the room. Recommend this place if staying in playas. Close to everything. Yes, there are federal police there but they don't bother the guests.

The hotel called the federally police on us

The hotel called the police for being noisy. They also said there was a funny smell coming from our room. This is how we were treated. Theres police in almost everyroom staying there im not sure why but its not a safe place to stay Stay away. Not safe

They gave me a room next to office too busy and noisy. No hair dryer, no soaps, shampoo or conditioner, a waiting list for an iron, old TVs, old decor, etc. etc...

we will come again !

well the write ups about the federales are true. pulling in we were greeted by no less than 6 parked Federal army transport trucks , but they were not at all intrusive .... The staff at the hotel was really nice and our room was just what we expected .. loved that i had a deck of my own ! the wifi went off and on a few times but the front desk staff rebooted the router when ever there was an issue and it cleared up pretty quickly ...easy 10 minute walk to the malecon and the playa!!

Room was not clean, and bathroom was super nasty, there were also intimadate for turist since they have like 30 Federal Mexican Police with guns over the place staying.

close to my personal event

the people are very friendly, good service the only thing that I would like to see at your hotel next time is more soap, more towels and a hair dryer. We only had one little bar of soap, there were no hand towels and a hair dryer will be very helpful. Other than that I will stay at you hotel again.

Es un hotel peueño, agradable, sin embargo, las habitaciones son muy sencillas.... el Restaurante solo tenia cierto tipo de comida, porque ahi estan hospedados los de la Policia Federal. Eb geberal limpio y sin mayores problemas. No hubo toallas extras, no hubo almohadas extras, no me consiguieron la secadora de pelo. Toallas viejas y percudidas, y ademas el estractor del baño hacia un ruido como de motor de motocicleta... espantoso.

Good price and conveniently located

I wanted to stay in Playas de Tijuana and this hotel was exactly where I needed to be. With the exception of the room wifi, which was down during my stay, everything else worked properly. You should not expect fluffy new towels, but the room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. I stayed over the weekend and there were some noisy groups, which were gone by Sunday night which was much quieter. It is close to a mall plaza and it was very convenient for food options beyond the hotel restaurant.

after reviewing other comments on this hotel, i wasnt really sure what to expect. when arriving i noticed that there were federal police staying there. At first it was a bit intimidating but actually it was fine because I felt safe. The staff was nice and i appreciated the fact that they didnt go into my room when i put the "do not disturb " sign up in the morning. I would definitely recommend this location for safety and easy access to many places and hwy. what I didnt like is that when i booked with expedia I asked for a crib and asked representative to make sure they had one if not I would book room with two beds.The agent confirmed but when I got to hotel I was told I was told that they had none or ever offer them. The good thing is we had a king size bed and we all fit so it worked out at the end. Another good thing is they have a great breakfast buffet at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this place..its not the ramada but its good for the price!

very nice from the outside but the inside was

the Hotel itself looked very nice and clean from the outside but inside of the room it had a funny smell like damp/mold. Would consider going to another hotel very much.

Location

This hotel is not where the map says it is! We ended up driving around at 11 pm asking every taco shop still open. Luckily we both speak Spanish! Call the hotel for the correct address first! Not as clean as we are used to in Tijuana and our AC unit didn't work. The staff was very helpful and the parking seemed secure. We will probably find somewhere new for our next visit to playas!

some improvement needed

location was excellent for my need as it was walking distance to the hospital. room smelled moldy, there were no cups for drinking, only had one towel, curtains and bedspread needed washing, no toilet paper and pillows were so old the fluff have been beaten out of 'em. However, when we asked for towels they were readily delivered and cups were available at the office. had to go out of the room to get cups. Office manager Abraham had excellent people and service skills.

Great value in Playas de Tijuana

I went to Playas to see the bullfight on Sunday and stayed here for the weekend. It’s only a five minute walk to the plaza, which was close to the boardwalk and some nice, local restaurants. It's about a 10 minute drive from downtown TJ, but easy access. If you're going to see the bullfight and need a place to stay, this is the hotel to go to. Inexpensive and comfort is comparable to something like Motel 6 in the States. The pool was heated, but it was still too cold to go into this trip. Some people were in it, but by summer time, it would be perfect. It's a clean hotel, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this one.
