"We’ve stayed at this property in the past and had no issues, it was convenient for our weekend visit but this time around not so. The room was locked from the inside when we tried to check-in to our room; apparently that part of the hotel was to be blocked off but somehow we were given a key to the room. Had to wait for another room. The replacement room had no shower curtain - had to request one; slow drain in both the sink and tub; desk furniture was noticeably dusty but bed was comfortable. To top it off there was a fire alarm so had to evacuate the hotel, apparently someone was vaping in their room and set off the alarm per the fireman. They are in the process of upgrading the hotel so maybe once done we’ll consider revisiting. "

"Staff could have a better attitude. A little training in the equal respect for guests checking in. They should be well trained to be happy to see every paying customer! I’m a very pleasant middle aged white man, I don’t always look like I can afford to be checking in a hotel but at least try to let me feel I’m welcome. "
