"We had a few issues with the room- no hot water in the morning, unable to turn off one of bedside lights other than by taking out the bulb, faulty coffee machine. However what was much more important to us was the prompt and efficient way in which the manager dealt with our problems. Five stars for that!"

"This accommodation is set amongst the beautiful countryside so you wake up to outstanding views, peace and quiet. The proprietor is warm and friendly...very helpful and makes a fantastic breakfast. We used it as a base to explore the local area. It is ideal for that. Those with limited mobility can be accommodated on the ground floor, however, please note, it is not fully wheelchair accessible. "We had a great stay at Nanny's Duleek. It was a perfect location for exploring the Boyne Valley. Food and drinks at the restaurant were excellent. Pub was very lively with friendly people. The room was small, but we didn't spend much time there. Rooms 1-9 are above the lounge with live music, so it was loud on Saturday night. Just stay at the bar until closing time or bring good earplugs. Loved it, we will be back."

"The Main level of the hotel is kept beautifully. Bedrooms were ok. Bathrooms need fixing up. . Beds comfortable. There was no shampoo is bathroom and the carpet needed vacuuming. Breakfast was solid. Bedrooms felt just a bit shabby."

"The part we stayed in was the cottage, which was a little bit rundown could do a good lick of paint but spotlessly clean the food in the staff were excellent but thought slightly overpriced for the accommodation itself however would go back there again but maybe not in that room"
