Good hotel in comfortable area

Consider to be normal hotel, not fancy in all deco and utilities. But location is good. A bit away from crowded commercial area but still reachable to transportation or walking distances. Cost is relatively lower compares to nearby areas. Only one thing would be the bath tub might be too slippery. Could make some device to give more protection to residents.

Conveniently located with a great access to a JR Osaki station, cafes/ dining, and shops. I chose this hotel as hotel guests have an access to an individual gym which is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel building.

Perfect stay for a family of 4

We stayed here during this Spring/Cherry Blossom season and loved our stay! The staff were very attentive from check in to check out - quickly responded when we needed extra pillows and blankets, and also when our son accidentally pulled down on a curtain and detached it from the railing. The beds were a bit small than we are used to (slightly wider than a twin bed in the USA) but it was enough for my husband and I to each share a bed with one of our children (9 years old and 7 years old). Beds and rooms were in good shape and clean. Bonus extras is that they have children's amenities sets in the lobby, a change machine that free to use and a luggage scale. But the best part of this hotel is the LOCATION! It was our first time visiting Japan and it was so convenient that the hotel building is connected to ThinkTank tower/a walking bridge via the second floor that takes you directly to Osaki Station - you never have to walk outside or around the building to reach the station. The same walking bridge also connects to Gate City tower which has a big Family Mart and several places to eat spread across 4 floors including a McDonalds and Starbucks. To top it off, the hotel held our luggage for a couple of hours when we checked out before we would be picked up by a transfer ride to our next destination. We feel we got this for a GREAT price, especially for the popular and expensive cherry blossom season, truly felt like such a great price. We would happily return!

Rude and Poor Service

Stayed in many hotels across Japan over the years and a few Daiwa Roynet branch too. This Osaki hotel was by far the most disappointing in terms of service. Front desk staff inexperienced. One of our room key didn't work so we requested a new card. It took three staff to reissue a room card and hence a lot of time waiting for them. The worse however was a staff working at breakfast service. He had long hair tied in a man-bun. He was rude to my wife and child. Didn't believe my child was 6 years old and challenged her age (she's 120cm tall). I went out to the toilet, came back and he asked for breakfast ticket. I said I already give it to him the first time . He frowned in disbelieve and said "Really? When?" I said 5min ago and pointed to my wife and daughter who was already at the seat. I sat with my family but the entire time he kept staring at us and shaking his head in anger like i've cheated and stole hotel breakfast. It left a very sour taste to the whole hotel experience at Daiwa Roynet Osaki and dispel any preconceived ideas that Japanese hospitability is world class. I do not recommend this hotel unless you enjoy poor service and being treated with hostility.

Cleaning took a long time. No gym in the hotel but attached to a public gym which required daily payment but gym closed all day Monday. As well breakfast not in hotel in a restaurant next door and NOT worth the cost. Beds comfortable and room quiet.

I have stayed at several Daiwa Roynet hotels now, in Tokyovand Kyoto. I find them consistent in their standards and a good choice for the cost-conscious traveller. Daiwa Roynet Osaki is conveniently located for connections to Yamanote and Saikyo lines as Osaki station is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel seems to be quite old compared to other Diawa Roynet hotels I've stayed in, with signs of minor wear and tear here and there, but the room was fine - comfortable, good air-conditioning, TV, and decent shower. That is all I need in a hotel, personally, as a base for exploration around the city. The staff appear to be multilingual and were quick to help with anything.

駅からほぼ濡れないアクセスが良くて、いつも使わせていただいています。 しかし今回気になったのが、部屋の壁。 部屋の隅の壁紙に埃が溜まっていました。 清潔かどうかは1番気になるところなので、今回星は少なめに。 チェックイン、アウトの手続きは簡単でスピーディーですし、スタッフの方の対応も◯ 次回も泊まりたいので、お掃除よろしくお願いします。

The Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tokyo was convenient to get to the cruise terminal by taxi the next morning and to eateries in the mall nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
