Booked this hotel for myself and my two daughters (18 & 20) for our first time in Japan. First upon checking in, the staff greeted us right at the Uber drop off. She guided us up to the check in kiosk and handled everything. We booked the two twin room for three ppl. Was worried I’d have to rent a cot for extra or have my daughter sleep in the bathtub. 😆 But no, they had three beds already set up. Hotel room was clean, neat and the view!!! Amazing! The shower/bath was so cool! The location was fantastic. Right in the middle of it all! Kabukichu has a reputation for being on the sketch side. ‘Sketch’ side in Japan is nothing compared to ‘sketch’ side in America. Again, we are three ladies. We felt totaly safe. Train station is very close by. In fact, leaving to the JR station is about a 7 min walk where we walked with three fairly large luggage’s the entire way. Everything was convenient. Close to Shibuya/harajuku (short train ride). I highly recommend.

Very large room for Japan, with kitchen and living area. Used by the military personnel in the area, US navy, so less authentic and you may get mis Nationalised if that sort of thing matters to you.

Perfect location and great staff. Our room was on 38th floor so we had fantastic views and the noise below wasnt an issue. The one gripe we had was the lack of clothing storage. Just one small rail with 4 or 5 hangers and nowhere to put our suitcases. We would still definitely recommend Hotel Groove Shinjuku to anyone in spite of this.

It’s a good hotel for tourism who are visiting Shinjuku. We had a spacious room on the corner but the only thing missing was the fact that the room didn’t have chairs to sit in. It was rather a simple bench against the wall which is less convenient if you want to sip a drink while watching the excellent view of the city. No gym facilities or pool. Breakfast is great and had excellent choices for any taste!

The hotel is located in a very convenient location. It would be much better if there was a gym in the hotel. We arrived in Tokyo early in the morning, yet could not book in until mid afternoon. If guests leave early, please could the hotel consider letting guests check in early, as it was inconvenient to wait for 6 hours before we could check in? This would make the experience a lot better!

The streets outside of the building are a little dirty but definitely have lots of variety in food and entertainment. The building itself is very clean and has lots of cool things

The staff here was really out of this world. Every single person was incredibly kind everyday. We will for sure be coming back to this hotel next time. The dinning and bar were also spectacular. The views from any area including the room were amazing. I cannot praise the staff enough. Being an English speaker in Japan for the first time may seem intimidating but we were able to get anything we needed from the staff with some patience. Which again is an incredible experience as a guest in a foreign county. We can’t wait to come back to Japan!

Exceptionally clean and beautiful rooms. Airport bus leaves right by it. Super convenient. Everything in walking distance. Staff is exceptionally helpful and humble. Beautiful entrance with life size live Sakura tree arrangement make it even more beautiful. It was my first visit to Tokyo staying at Groove made it memorable. I will be staying here in future with all my Japan trips from now on. Highly recommended it. So sad to leave today.

Our room was amazing with well thought out amenities. The view was incredible. The staff tried very hard to help but some were better English speakers than others which caused some long waits. The breakfast was awesome with so many options.

Great location, lots of stuff to walk around and see. nighttime can be pretty busy. Easy short walk to train station about 10 min Hotel lobby is up in the tower so keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage. Great size rooms and laundry facility. Worth it to get breakfast included.

We decided to try a new hotel. It was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was on the small size, but they were able to pack quite a bit I that space. The 28th floor view was spectacular. Breakfast was delicious . There were so many choices : both Western and Japanese. The room was clean and comfortable. One of the amenities We especially appreciated was the laundry room was 5 washer/ dryers. Heaven sent! There's information in the usage of the washer dryers on the hotel website . We would return again. Shinjuku station was 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

Area around the property can be overwhelming after hours, but the property, staff and accessibility was fantastic. Surprisingly quiet as the rooms are so high from the ground level.

Check in was a tad odd as it’s self service at kiosks. But the staff were around to help. The hotel is very nice and new. The experience felt upscale and trendy. The neighborhood is known for nightlife though can be slightly seedy as people walk up to you trying to have you go to bars that are purportedly tourist traps.

Outstanding property. Loved the Shinjuku area and steps from the Shinjuku Station for easy access anywhere in Tokyo. Breakfast was excellent and I suggest purchasing the breakfast plan. Great way to start the day. Service staff was the best.
