The welcome here couldn't have been more warm, it is a lovely little boutique hotel on the register of historic hotels in Norway. It's a bit of a walk uphill from the train station, but well signposted and you get a taste of the sights of Roros on the way. There are two cosy lounges that just feel like you are at home in your own livingroom, with a fireplace in one and free tea/coffee and cookies. Excellent hotel. Room space was good but plug sockets could be positioned better and updated with USB ports. It would be useful to have better bathroom shelving and a useable plug in the hand basin. Breakfast was very good with everything you need to start your day. The evening meal in the restaurant was good but the service was a little slow.

The incredibly helpful staff and the magical location. The pool, sauna and hot tub were just perfect. Best of all, your toboggans - I will never forget speeding downhill into town steering my delighted five year old grandson.

A nice stay, but room could be cleaner and waiters were unsure about gluten (claimed the broccoli soup with crutons were gluten free).
Very helpful and serviceminded people in the reception. Good pool, but guests did not follow the rules made by hotel.

The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was as described. The stay was a pleasure. Only problem we had, was that we were charged twice for the room. But that has been rectified now.
