We were very comfortable with our stay and happy to experience Zamami Island and all it had to offer. The hotel manager was very kind, hospitable, and helpful with all of our questions. Would absolutely stay here again."

The hotel was also an easy two minute walk from Aharen beach and less than that for a walk to the store and island restaurants. Couldn’t recommend this more! "Perfect for the price!! This definitely isn’t the Hilton, but it’s everything I needed to stay a few days on Tokashiki, since I was outside for the majority of each day. The room was a little musky, but we received fresh towels everyday and the AC was strong (most important part in my opinion). I am a light sleeper and stayed in the cabins, I could hear everything, but everyone was very respectful with noise and it went silent around 8pm anyway. This has the largest facility on the island though! It’s a 1 minute walk from Aharen Beach! Made it extremely easy to go snorkeling. While their rooms are okay, their facilities are wonderful! Sea Friend has THE BEST restaurant on the island. Delicious octopus, mango juice, cocktails, pork cutlet, and stir fry! The majority of places here close at 4pm, but Sea Friend is open until 8pm/9pm. Additionally, I got their breakfast every morning which was buffet and very good. Additionally, they sell the essentials (sunscreen, aloe, beer, icecream, etc) in their lobby. Lastly, their snorkeling trip was one of the less expensive on the island and AMAZING!! Very very worth staying here! If you don’t mind not having a fancy hotel room, but want an amazing location and great food and facilities, I recommend staying here! Staff was extremely friendly and considerate! "

"Good experience overall. It is a wodden cabin in the jungle. 20 minutes walk from the beach. The host is very helpful. He gave us rides to and from the beaches whenever we asked for it, Gave us all the information when our ferry got canceled drove us to and from the ferry terminal....etc"

"Loved this guest house! The room is nice and the guest house has common showers and bathroom as well as a common kitchen where you can store whatever you need in the fridge or freezer, which ended up being very handy as almost every store closes before 6pm.. they also offer food there in case you couldn’t get any and I found that very thoughtful. They also offer snorkel rental for 1000yen and is definitely worth it!"

"Average experience, this is clearly a newly open residence and only one floor is in service while the owner is still renovating the second floor. Maybe a lot for one person to handle , but professionalism could improve, cleanliness was ok but not perfect and while some things are newly renovated, this is an older building. Owner is helpful though and this may all improve in time . For now it’s a bit expensive for what it is, but there is limited options on Aka island anyways. "
