In a better world, this property would have gotten a much better rating- the problem was this: I paid $650 (that is more than $200/night!) for a room that when I arrived did NOT have a window; did NOT have electrical sockets to charge my devices, did NOT have a desk or counter to place items such as my laptop for work or minibar, coffee machine, cleaning service- none of this was mentioned on Expedia when I booked! I was then offered an "upgrade" to a better room, wch I accepted & it was in fact nicer- the problem!!- an upgrade, unless stated otherwise, means one is being offered an "upgrade" at no additional cost so imagine my surprise when I was billed an additional $650 w/o any explanation!! In the real world, when an airline or hotel offers an upgrade, they don't charge double w/o any explanantion so No, not at all happy- no room in this hotel is worth over $400/nite; in fact, no room in Tobolobampo is worth that much, esp when one walks the street the hotel is on. Very disappointed in its business practice & unless I get a full refund, they should consider it lucky that I gave them the rating they received.
