"The location was ideal. It is located almost right on the water. That was amazing because it was HOT in Bari. If we wanted to go somewhere else, we took the bus, taxi or walked. The night life and the food that was close by was also amazing. The air conditioning was excellent. The pool was absolutely spotless and ideal during this very hot summer. The room was immaculate and the bathroom was a nice size with a big shower. It is obvious that the owners take pride in their property. Magda was a gem with making sure that we had everything from information regarding places to go and where to eat to offering an umbrella and chairs to take to the beach. She and her mom were wonderful, by spontaneously showing up at the pool with drinks and/or appetizers and showing the Italian warmth and hospitality. That was really sweet! My only real complaint was that Magda rang our bell several times in the morning (starting around 7:30 or so) after a late night of being out and drinking and after I told her that we didn’t want any type of service in the room. I believe that she likes to check the rooms for damage even after she requests a cash 250€ deposit and/or she checks to see if the AC has been left on when no one is in the room. I get it! Electric is expensive, but she would also know if we left because she tried to enter using a key and couldn’t get in because our key was in the lock. I don’t know why she continued to ring the bell and wake us up. This should be 5 star review."

"The staff was terrific from having a car pick us up at the airport to bringing us to the hotel. It is in the historic center and allows both easy access to the historic buildings in old town to the main street between old town and the train station which reminded us of 5th avenue in NYC with all the apparel top end stores. Can't say enough about how we enjoyed this place. Lastly, the food in the local restaurants was not only great but inexpensive."

"Excellent hotel. Except the restaurant at dinner, the manager ...well we didn't have dinner. But the hotel is beautiful and the rest of the staff, specially all the ladies at reception were wonderful attentive hosts. Location is perfect with the sea right in front of you and you can walk to downtown."

"This hotel was adjacent to the Bari central train station so incredibly easy to find. The front desk person let me into my room 2 1/2 hours early, something that makes a difference. The room was fine and the morning breakfast buffet the next morning was the best I've had in traveling in 4 months in Italy. The staff also gave me excellent suggestions for local restaurants and attractions!"

"Breakfast was outstanding, of great variety and served from 7 am .. easy to get a jump on the day. Walk from hotel to beach, historical sights, and shopping. While in walking distance from main train station, there is a shuttle train to/from main station on travel day .. just adjacent to the hotel .. helped with the luggage. People at the front desk most helpful and friendly."
