"The view... it's magnificent! Walk out the door of your room and be confronted with the pure beauty of Tuscany. I don't think we've ever spent so much time just relaxing with a drink and a snack, overlooking the countryside. We saw beautiful sunsets and also a thunderstorm. Wish we had booked more nights. "The communication with the host was a bit confusing as I was told that a “colleague” would be there but, actually, it was the host’s mother. Altogether the family was very nice and helpful (could leave my luggage at early arrival and go explore). The room was cute with a comfy bed, maybe a little overstuffed with mismatched old furniture. Everything was sparkling clean. A fridge and a kettle were provided. Only upon arrival I realised that my room did not have an ensuite but a shared bathroom....
