Rooms were spacious and clean, parking was plentiful. Complimentary wine(limited selection). Room service was good too. Beds were comfortable. We had a wonderful time in Faroe Islands, didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast.
Nice stay but you pay extra for sauna and jacuzzi. One glass of wine included in the happy hour every day. The view from the front side is very nice. Would stay there again.
Grass roof and glass front blends perfectly into the culture and landscape. The room design and layout was a picture perfect environment with every useful convenience for a great vacation. Amazing staff gave great travel advice and went above and beyond to cater to my dietary restrictions. I have never had a better overall experience. The guest use laundry room and private rooftop spa were simply over the top.
Loved our stay. Hotel is fairly new w all the
Modern conveniences. The staff were always welcoming and the hotel bar & restaurant were excellent. Great food. Hotel is about a 20 minute walk to downtown Torshavn but that did not pose an issue for us.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was not near any shopping or alternative dining but offered an excellent breakfast buffet. The dinner menu was limited but adequate. There was parking available
A good hotel easy to locate, a fair walk from the harbour area (best food options). Spacious room with separate toilet from shower. Only niggle was no provision of a teaspoon; i borrowed one from the restaurant on my first day but this was removed by room service so i had to get another the next day (tricky to stir coffee / remove tea bags etc)
We came for a short trip to Faroe Islands. We wanted to explore the rugged nature of the land but have a comfortable base to operate from. And we found it in the Hilton. Located just on the edge of town with views to the sea and one tidal parking. But only 15 minute walk to centre.
Overall, this is a nice hotel. The front desk staff are really personable and helpful. Our room was fairly small (as expected for a European hotel room) but it was clean and the beds were comfy. The sink/mirror is in the room and there are separate stalls each for the toilet and the shower. There is a fridge and an electric tea kettle in the room. The location is a bit odd… the only entrance/lobby is down a driveway from the road to the back of the building. It is in a more industrial area, but it is easy to walk into city center. There are also many walking paths nearby that are fun to explore.
International brand lives up to its standards. I'm currently staying at various hotels in Denmark with about the same price range, not sure about the very expensive ones, but many of these hotels are either lacking mini bar, slippers, tissue, or very small shower place with shower curtain that doesn't block out the water at all.
All that common annoying issues I found in Denmark, none were happening at the Hilton hotel in Faroe Islands. It was like "finally I can really get some rest here" and it's fun to think that I actually got the best stay at a remote island instead of in Denmark cities.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Small’ish rooms for the price ($225 per night). No wardrobe, just a hanging rod. Rooms and public areas really hot. Very noisy on most nights from overnight conferences and people spilling into the parking and playing music and drinking booze. Rooms facing the parking got all the noise. One would think the hotel would ask them not to create a ruckus going into the early hours of the morning.
Positives - staff are friendly, housekeeping is good, plenty of parking, close to town.
This property is at the edge of Torshavn. The area around the hotel is fully safe, but it is commercial with limited eating choices. It is about a 25 minute walk to the harbor area where most of the shops and restaurants are located. It is frustrating to have to walk from the front entrance of the hotel through the parking lot and up the driveway to be able to walk anywhere. This property was not designed with pedestrians in mind. The room was clear and a good size. A bit of an odd arrangement with separate chambers for the toilet and the shower. The included breakfast was good. Be aware that it gets crowded at peak times. An intriguing detail was that the hotel had a turf roof.
