Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were decent sized with some basic amenities. Property amenities were basic too but suited our short stay needs. No complaints!

Solest Takachiho Hotel
The hotel is beautiful but it does not have room service. Breakfast is basic. But I can understand the occupant rate is not always at the peak. Room is roomy and huge. Kamenoi Hotel Aso
Spent one night on the way to kagoshima. Great hotel, very clean, amazing dinner and breakfast, Great amenties. Underated hotel, had a short but lovely time there.

Rakuten STAY VILLA Aso Kurokawa
Very clean and well-maintained, the villa is spacious and faces east so you get a sunrise view from the living area. Make sure you reach before sundown because the road in is winding and treacherous. Best to familiarise yourself on your first drive at peast.
