Superb hotel in every way. It is on the expensive side, especially for some of the wine, but everything is of the highest of standards. Excellent golf course, played 2 rounds, greens were as good as it gets, very true and good speed. I was lucky as they had to move to temporary greens for 2 days while they treated them...I wouldn't have been pleased if I hadn't been able to play having booked the hotel for the golf! Our room (#419) was very nice but we had to ask for a fan as it did become...

We stayed in Deauville for 7 days. L'Augeval was just perfect. It overlooks the racecourse stables so couldn't be easier for a day at the races. It is also a short walk from the beach,the casino and town centre. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool which we used every day it was so pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We had breakfast in the hotel every morning after trying it on the first day.
