"I had a dirty bathroom counter when I checked in. It took 1 1/2 hours to get a staff member there to clean it. Most of the staff was top notch! Especially Shawnii at the front desk. I spoke to Justin asking for a late check out and he said he'd check and call me back...but didn't. So all in all it as ok. The manager did stop me on my way out to ask why I wasn't completely happy and what could he do since Justin "over-promised and under-performed". So I was impressed by him also. Not sure I would rush to go back though."

"My husband and I came here for our baby moon. The trip started off rocky when we came to our room and the balcony door wouldn’t open. Not a problem, they put us in a different room. However this room did not have the view that we paid for and it was a bit smaller. It also took the bellhops about 2 hours to move our bags from one room to the other. Then night one we did not have the greatest sleep because the mattress and pillows were not comfy at all. I’ve stayed at cheaper places with better mattresses and pillows. Then on night two the AC was not working in the room. At this point we were ready to go home. It was disappointing to pay so much for a stay and run into so many issues. The only thing that made this trip decent was that the property and view was beautiful and the spa is amazing."

"Very clean. Perfect location if you’re flying into or out of the airport since it sounds like all of the planes are landing right on the hotel roof. All the doors are squeaky at the far end of first floor so you can keep tabs on your neighbours’ comings and goings all night. Otherwise lovely, with friendly staff"

"We arrived shortly after the Knicks final game began. As soon as we got to our room we tried turning on the tv but it didn’t work. I ran back down to the desk & was impressed with how quickly the gentleman came up with me. He not only got it working he found the game for us & gave us a new remote. I had never used hotel.com before and was weary but they found us a nice room when I couldn’t find any available. We travel across the country to visit our daughter at least once a year. These trips include 6 hotel stays round trip. I am very particular. Cleanliness and a free breakfast are top priorities. She wasn’t with us this time but we usually travel with our little dog so we need pet friendly. During our travels we mostly only will stay in a Comfort Inn or a Hampton Inn. The rates here were a bit high but this was NY. However we were very pleased with our suite. The fridge was large. Not only did it keep our waters cold it also allowed me to refreeze my numerous ice packs so well that our beverages were still cold in our 2 coolers when we arrived home late that night. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."
