"I came to check in around 10pm. I had notified the staff and they were aware. The first odd thing was the person checking me in had an air pod in his ear the entire time he checked me in. He asked for my ID, then he made a copy of it!! That still does not sit well with me. I have NEVER had them take a photocopy of my ID before.
I got my keys and proceeded to my accessible room on the second floor. I was overcome with the scent of cleaning products and the room was dreadfully HOT!! The hallway outside was hot as well. I put my bag down and checked the thermostat on the wall. Nothing. No power. It didn’t work at all. I went over to the unit in the window, thinking maybe it just works from there. I was able to change the temperature, etc, but nothing happened. I waited a few minutes and the air never turned on.
I grabbed my bags and my sore and tired self BACK to the lobby. The man at the desk still had that air pod in his ear as I said to him FOUR TIMES the THERMOSTAT wasn’t working. He finally gave me another room one floor up.
Well, it was cooler.
It was NOT accessible. The toilet was practically on the floor. The lamp shades were ripped, there were stains on all of the woodwork. There was a hole in the wall where the door probably hit it too many times. The tub…well, I hope it just needed to be resurfaced. Otherwise it was FILTHY! I would never recommend this establishment."
