Lovely, picturesque location which was convenient for exploring Magnetic Island. We were able to check in early which was an added bonus.

Whilst the property was in a very convenient location right next to the ferry, the room advertised was not at all what we were given. Very disappointing, very grubby, dried blood drips in bath tub made it feel totally disgusting..one of the reasons we booked was for the jet tub..unusable. The furniture was old and the decor was like stepping back to the 1980’s and again, not the pictures online. Receptionist was very rude and unfriendly which set the tone too. Unfortunate experience in what was meant to be a very beautiful couple of nights away.

Wifi did not work and this is not acceptable. Seems a typhoon came through a few weeks ago and broke the server. Everywhere else on the island seemed fine. If there is a wifi problem it needs to be clearly stated when booking. I would have gone elsewhere because cannot unfortunately be disconnected for three days. Spent almost 200 euro on roaming the three days. Local contact said would do his best but no luck. Communication complicated too with local contact as network not working, payment was a hassle although they were flexible. Apart from that appartment well located. Cleanliness could have been better. Some dust in cupboards where kitchenware is. Windows very dirty outside. It is facing the port but seems the apptment did not get a quick cleanup before we arrived We did get a larger apptment three rooms than we needed.

Great for families

Well laid out and plenty of space for a family. Beautiful views and close to shops and ferry. Well equipped facilities. Kids enjoyed the pool.

Lovely setting

The manager of the property was very helpful, considerate and made our stay comfortable. The property is excellent, well situated with access to the ferry stop, shops and cafes. We were 6 in all, 4 adults and 2 children and would recommend Magnetic Is as a place to visit.

Wonderful!!!

We absolutely loved our stay and didn't want to leave! Maureen was a fabulous host and gave us lots of information on our arrival! The apartment is walking distance to the ferry terminal and iga if you want to cook a meal in the fabulous kitchen overlooking the pool or you can bring your car or hire a mini moke to explore the island when you get there (we did and the kids loved it!!!). Highly recommended.

Beautiful appartment right near the ferry terminal

Had an awesome couple of days away. . The staff were so very friendly and went over and beyond what you would normally expect. . We had a most memorable visit to magnetic island with many thanks to maureen at beachside . . And will be booking in there again. .
