"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "Great new suites but due to the harvest time of rice fields there were rats and mice everywhere, including in the room, the staff were so apologetic and went well out of there way to catch them and blocking the roof holes. no fault of the resort and they really tried hard to please"
