"Mount Lavinia hotel is in an amazing location with a phenomenal view. The F&B staff and food is excellent and very friendly. There was a games room with a pool table and table tennis table which my kids thoroughly enjoyed. There is work to be done in renovating the hotel and parts of the building to restore it to it’s former grandeur, but all in all a great place to base yourself and enjoy the beautiful and serene waves, lovely pool and mesmerising sunset you can see on the terrace. "Deva the caretaker made the difference. He was fantastic. A very caring man. The owner Dinesh and his wife very responsive and we felt so comfortable going forth our chosen residence in Colombo. We have stayed at the Hilton, Cinnamon Grand, Kingsbury , Cinnamon Lake etc. but this is the place to stay. 10/10"

"On a adoré notre séjour à Anam Hôtel ! On y a passé 10 jours. On a pu se reposer. L’hôtel se situe à quelques mètres de la plage, où on peut y voir des magnifiques coucher de soleil le soir. Le personnel de l’hôtel est juste super super gentil. Il y a une cuisine que l’on peut utiliser, mais aussi une machine à laver dont on peut se servir. Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne regretterez rien."
