"The reception staff was extraordinary. When I was checking in, Phyllis noticed a man come in and look my way. She asked if he was with me (he was), noticing he seemed interested in me. I appreciate her concern for my safety! She also told us about nearby restaurants that offer discounts to people staying at the hotel."

"After we checked in and our kids were changed to go swimming we went to the pool only to find out that someone had literally pooped in the pool, like 15 turds all over the bottom of the pool. Alerted the front desk because they were unaware, so they closed the pool and refunded our money because that was the main purpose of coming to Dayton a day early was so our kids could swim and we would be in town the following morning to go to the Air Force Museum. Staff was very apologetic and nice even...

"No smoke detector carpet shredded place smelled it was disgusting. Somehow they up charged the rooms to almost $300 a night which I had to pay as we were out of town for a wedding and there is nothing else in the area. Place is a dump wish I could get my money back"

"Good hotel, but you can tell it is an old property compared to the other options at this exit. Met our needs for an overnight trip but nothing else. Stairs super squeaky, like the floor below the carpet was about to crumble. Back door had a rock propping it open every time we came down the stairs, so our safety at times felt questionable. Probably won’t ever go here again. Worth the extra money to stay somewhere else."

"The place was very nice and relaxing. The gentleman who owns the place is definitely a gentleman. He brought my heavy baggage downstairs to my car. What a nice man. I would recommend this place to anyone."

"Front desk could have cared less about helping you. Morning person didn’t even attempt to help solve a problem for us. We had to wait 30 to get a cart to carry our luggage down because at 6 in the morning none were available. My husband is handicap and unable to carry our bags. She would not even get up from her chair to talk to me when I asked her for help Gentleman working kitchen said he would help me as soon as he completed some work that had to be done.
