If you are a light sleeper you should be travelling with earplugs; motorbikes in the night could get a little noisy. I'm sure that's an issue everywhere if you are closer to a roadway."

"The room was excellent. Directions made it very easy to find. The bed was super comfy. We were within walking distance of everything. I would highly recommend getting some sort of nonslip mats for the shower as it got very slippery with the soap. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!"

"We appreciate meeting our B & B host, Lucilla, and having her walk us through the 2 front doors, elevator, B & B, and room key procedure. She was also very kind and helpful in making recommendations and gave us her phone number in the event of any problems. While in a charming historic building, the bathroom was modern, bed comfortable, and room spacious. "This is a b&b, no clear access to property, walk up 3-4 flights of stairs to business card over bell, waited 20 minutes in scary stairwell for host. Went to get something to eat and on return the first key is street entry, second key is apartment entry and the third key is the one that didn’t work for entry to the room. Waited 20 min"

"This hotel is close to downtown Catania (about 2 km walk). We were able to choose between a room downstairs or a suite upstairs. We chose the suite because it had a small kitchen and a private terrace. You have to take fairly narrow spiral staircase to get upstairs but this was not a problem for us. "Our host was amazing! So friendly and knowledgeable! This was a palace and is 200 years old. The floors are original and the frescos are 100 years old!! Absolutely beautiful!! We appreciated our balcony to look over the lovely street! Conveniently located, it's in the heart of Catania!! Parking is a challenge! Thanks to our host for showing us a spot!! Breakfast was lovely with Sicilian specialties!"

"Beautiful suites with plenty of space to spread out and relax. All of our needs were more than taken care of (though I could have used a full length mirror). Staff was very welcoming and accommodating! We arrived early and they graciously got us settled into our rooms so that we could relax before heading out. The hotel is a hidden gem, super convenient to the tourist area with plenty of restaurants and shopping, but calm and peaceful once you're inside. Would definitely stay here again!"
