"we ate there the night before we left. We ordered dessert online. The server made us show her our receipt for the dessert before bringing it to our table. When she finally brought our dessert she was very sour and didn’t even apologize. Seemed very rude."

"Excellent stay! The parking was a huge plus and especially important as my husband was travelling by motorbike. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. "Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...

"Our “room” was a small apartment set over two floors. Very comfortable, clean and with everything we needed for a few nights. WiFi was good. Nice art on the walls. Plenty of parking. And convenient location for touring around snowdonia and north wales. Staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfasts included. Thankyou for everything"

"Lovely twin room dual aspect window with biscuits, tea and coffee. En-suite was a little small as knees touched the door when on the toilet, but I’d rather have one than not at all. Nice surprise to have a full cooked breakfast with fruit and cereal, rather than just continental as it says in the blurb."

"This place is a find. Directly across the road from the Pyg trail at Snowdon. Comfortable beds and very clean. Make sure to book parking as it is in high demand or park down the road and take Sherpa Bus."
