"Lovely hotel in the heart of Carines Esplanade. Walking distance to all major attractions (night market, lagoon, reef, rusty's and shopping) and transport (central train station for Kuranda train and buses). Very helpful staff (Ricardo and Manuel especially). Hotel was very clean, rooms were too and well appointed (espresso machine, slippers, robes). "We had a wonderful couple of days at the Sheraton Mirage. The hotel was excellent and the food terrific. The only thing that would make it even better was if they had an adults only section in Feast Restaurant. At the buffet breakfast there was a lot of children running around tables and in walkways while we were walking back to our spot with plates in one hand and glasses in the other, and nearly loosing the lot.
