"I have stayed here many times and I have always found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and well maintained. They also have added coffee and breakfast available in the morning which is a plus. My only complaint is that the valet parking is exorbitant. It's easier to leave your car on the street over night and move it before 9 am, which they don't tell you."

"Staff was wonderful! Our junior suite was comfortable. We enjoyed some of the older touches of the place as it evoked good memories of times gone by. Things are basic and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable and we were thankful for the ac that we could control in the room. Lots of easy walking and interesting places to eat in walking distance. "The AC was locked and did not stay on. Had to get up to pull plug to reset several times in night. If I pay for the room I should be able to set the temp to my preference. Otherwise the hotel was very good but disappointing regarding comfort from AC"

"First room was smelly of smoke, or maybe the people sitting out front of the parking lot smoking made the smell get into the room. It did not have a working bolt lock, the mirror was not cleaned, so we requested another room. The second room did not have a working lock either, so we got changed to 2nd floor, which was better, but there was no elevator. The air cooler was so loud, I had a difficult time staying asleep. We missed breakfast."

"A sweet lodge in Vermont close to Quechee Gorge, a lovely location. Very spacious rooms. Well maintained and clean. Morning breakfast will get you off for a good day of looking around this beautiful state. Quite a little jewel, I think."
