When we checked in for our reserved poolside room, we were steered to a pool room at the backside of pool for quiet and privacy. Thank goodness!! Actual poolside rooms would have been very noisy. But, our room was extremely outdated. Bathroom needs updating, mold was everywhere around the tub/shower, cabinetry and sinks were worn, harsh lighting, and television was probably ten years old or more.
A nice touch were windows that could have been opened. Unfortunately, we didn’t dare to leave them open because screens at ground level were torn and could have allowed snakes, scorpions, or desert animals to enter our room. No thank you!
On the other hand, the staff were exceptional in every way. Big shout out to Rosario! She made breakfast each morning a real delight."
