"Samanvaya is a truly special place — beautifully designed, set among stunning rice terraces, and run by people who clearly care deeply about both their guests and their community. Our villa was serene and well kept, and the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuine — exactly the kind of hospitality that makes Bali unforgettable. The restaurant and pool areas overlook incredible scenery, perfect for slowing down and soaking it all in. That said, during our stay there was some construction happening near the restaurant. Each morning around 8 a.m. we could hear hammering, which took a little away from the tranquility of the experience. But as anyone who’s spent time in Bali knows, there’s always some building going on — paradise never gets built silently. Overall, Samanvaya remains a beautiful retreat, full of heart and purpose. Once the construction wraps up, it will be as peaceful as ever and well worth visiting for anyone wanting to experience the real Bali in comfort and calm."

"Great location, lovely beach and pool. Rooms clean and relatively well equipped. Staff are all just great, special mention to trainee Yoga who was always smiling and attentive at breakfast service which was also varied with excellent quality. Gym was also decent for a hotel gym and dinner at Indonesian restaurant was great and good value. Thank you."

"This hotel is in Candidasa. Quietly tucked away from the rest of Ubud. It was close to the Lempuyang, and Besakih Temples. Also close to Amed Restaurant, where most people go for beautiful sunsets. "

"Loved our stay at SeaBreeze Candidasa! Honestly, the pictures of the ocean-front resort property does not do it justice. All I wanted to do was spend time on loungers, cabanas, in the pool, or snorkeling. Our room was clean and comfortable, which is pretty much all you need when the rest of the time you're out enjoying the property. The restaurant was great and had so much variety - we ate five meals and ordered different things every time. While we could have spent each day at the pool, the fact that there is snorkel access is pretty amazing. The staff were super pleasant and I wouldn't hesitate to come back here - great value for what you're paying."

"This is not at all a takeaway from the hotel, but there are a lot of stairs and it is pretty much impossible to avoid them. The staff will help you with your bags so you don’t need to do any heavy lifting. If that’s something that doesn’t work for you, consider other hotels. Perfect hotel that’s right on Amed Beach. Temper your expectations for luxury because it is a quiet little fishing town and pretty much the only thing to do there is snorkel and scuba dive that doesn’t take away from the facilities at all, but don’t expect a Marriott. Absolutely beautiful property with multiple pools and stunning views. Staff will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is comfortable. The spa on site is amazing, we got a couple’s massage and honestly, it was the best massage I’ve ever had for a fraction of the price that you will get at home. Restaurant has very good food, and there are countless little cafés and restaurants you can walk to along the street. Have cash on hand if you venture out of the hotel for food. ATMs are known to be unreliable in Amed so make sure you stock up before you arrive. I didn’t have any problems with them, but I’ve read that other people have. If you do use an ATM in the area make sure you use one that is inside one of the convenience stores and not a freestanding one, as those will possibly skim your card. "
