"5-Stars all the way. No plastic anywhere, no paper napkins. Clean white linen instead, and glass eater bottles. Very environmentally conscious. Also very quiet and comfortable in our top level dormer room. The modern radiant heat was silent and efficient, as was simply opening the window when needed. "The breakfast was NOT free and there is not a washer and dryer at the hotel. But a lovely place to stay. Also parking is first come first serve so not a lot of parking "

"The home is clean and comfortable. The host was lovely. There are no amenities (no breakfast) and the walk to town is considerable (and a rather large hill!). But, it was an excellent place to lay our weary heads. Check in and checkout were simple. "

The hotel is in a good location close to town and the train station which we used. The staff in the restaurant as well as the check in area could not have been nicer.
