"Nice and quiet"

"Clean room self parking and most important pet allowed"

"Hotel was clean and well maintained. We arrived around 8:00pm and decided to eat at the restaurant on property. We were surprised to be told that the kitchen closes at 9:00. It’s a Casino Hotel. Food was average and staff friendly but not well trained. Our server did not know how to open the bottle of wine we ordered but was very grateful we taught her. Also disappointed that they only clean the room every 3 days. When we requested fresh towels they left a bag of towels outside our room...

"We booked the room thinking we were going to be on the resort property but we were a mile down the road at these very outdated condos. The room had dead bugs, dirty bedding, and patio door that was lacking the greasing or maintenance to allow it to open easily. There was no box breakfast and beach club that looks inviting did not have any bar or grill. It rained earlier in the day so they closed it down for the whole afternoon and evening. Also, the Den which had all the cool arcade games...

"Seemed kind of run down but we had no other options. Spend the extra $ and at least go to Hampton inn, if beach is t that important. Very hard beds, no extra pillows for the hard bed"

"The Sandbar is being renovated. Only half of it is done. There is no check-in or no one to actually speak to. If there is a problem we had to talk with the workers. The outside bar is not set up yet. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. Having said that, the room was very nice and clean. The outdoor space was nice and functional, good view of the lake. They did have an indoor area with couches and a couple game tables. It will be a really nice place when it is complete!"

"This is a great place to stay, however, if you’re in the adjoining rooms and you have noisy neighbors ….it echoes back into the other room if you’re not in a hallway room. The management was excellent on having a loud child next-door quiet down , even though it was due to the combined entry point. Loved the beds and the view was excellent. Rooftop bar was really nice and pleasant. They had cookies in the evening, which were really good and they always had to grab breakfast of croissant or stone...

"Check in was easy, room was clean. Comfortable bed. Small fridge which was a plus. But the AC unit was loud. For breakfast, go earlier. Not many choices. One day omelet was very salty, it was impossible to eat. We didn't use pool or gym, but they both looked clean."

"The Tamarack Lodge is beautiful. The lodge vibe gave such a cozy feeling. The dark wood details along with the stained glass lamps in the lobby. There were even stained glass sconces lining the hallways. We had a water view from our balcony and there was a fireplace in our room adding to the over all lodge vibe. The bathtub looked very enticing but a little intimidating. I did not try it. The only reason(s) for the 4 star rating is: 1) The refrigerator would not get cool. We informed staff that...

"Excellent. Close to downtown and easy access to major roads. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Safe area. Highly recommend."
