"What a lovely surprise. Picked out this property on a whim as an overnight stay as a midway point on our drive to Indiana. It turned out to be a hidden gem that we wished we could enjoy for longer. Next time we will certainly stay here and give ourselves more time to truly enjoy the property and its surroundings!"

"This might be the coolest place I have ever stayed. Rooms are small (used to be a hostel) but spotless as is the rest of the hotel. Great history behind this building. Very comfortable sitting in the great room conversing with others. The peacefulness was in large part due to this being a TV free hotel."

"Everything was great! Unfortunately, the Commoner restaurant that we had planned on having breakfast at was shut down due to a drainage problem. They more than made it right for the unfortunate circumstances. They offered suggestions, but since we are familiar with the area, we decided to head out to the strip and eat at one of our favorites, which is Pamela‘s. Staff is always courteous and willing to please. We will stay there in the future again."
