Hence, this is more of a criticism of the platform hotels.com because we received an email that said the booking is confirmed and only much further down the email in small print did it notify that we needed to contact the property 24 hours in advance to make arrangements for access to property. Further down the line, it indicated only a phone number for special requests....

"I had a good night staying at Anette's place, but travellers should be aware that the bathroom is shared with other guests and faces directly onto the communal area - I had to wait to use it in the morning, and then the other guest was having a long conversation right outside the door with Anette which meant I couldn't feel relaxed! "We loved our brief stay here. The staff was welcoming and friendly; we're sad we didn't get to stay longer and enjoy the property. Denmark was actually experiencing a heat wave while we visited and they upgraded our room automatically into one with better air flow without us asking. For those coming from the U.S., I'll note that they spoke perfect English, so that is not a concern."
