"Staff was great overall. But they really fumbled on getting me a taxi to the train station. I thought I'd arranged for it the night before, and they assured me everything was taken care of. But no one did anything, and the concierge just disappeared. Very disappointing."

"This is by far the BEST hotel we've stayed in in Datong and in China! Its also the BEST Holiday Inn as well. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The room very confortable and accessible.. Quite hotel too... we stayed a week and slept so well. Its easy to catch and Uber or walk around the neighborhood. Safe and clean area as well, but then most if not all China, is safe. The breakfast Buffet has to be the best ever! So many choices to choose from! We would definitely stay here again and probably will on our next trip to Datong!"

"This is not an hotel, but rather a bed and breakfast - a very nice one!!!! Rooms are very nice, nicely decorated but a bit awkward configuration. Includes a private small pool and a big breakfast! The best thing it’s the concierge 24/7 service. People and staff are always looking into how to make your stay better!!! They are great!! Quite new and taxis may note yet know where it is, but easily found in maps."
