"The room was clean but the property not so much. There were dirty towels sitting in the hallway all night. There was trash on the ground towards the back of the building. The parking lot needs repair. There is no carpeting in the rooms which was fine since we stayed there with our dogs. The bed was really tall off the ground and with only one chair in the room there was no place to sit with our dogs. With dachshunds it didn't really work. The road it was on wasn't too busy so we were able walk...

"Normally, I’m not a person That we use a bad review, but this is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s very obvious it’s a drug hotel. They did not even have a flat sheet on the bed between you and the blanket. It was an old nasty blanket. My TV did not work. They brought me some rinky-dink TV then the remote didn’t work on that the beds look like they were just made up from the last person that was there. The grounds were nasty. The room was nasty. It needs to be condemned....

"Enjoyed how picked up all areas were. Amenities in room were adequate and enough and plenty of towels! The room was bigger than I thought it would be and the view spectacular! The staff was always kind and friendly no matter the ask. All had a positive attitude and were ready with whatever I needed, no matter front desk, pool side, restaurant, or housekeeping! Will be back and share my great experience!"

"Staff was nice. Room wasn't the cleanest but it was ok. Coffee pot was missing in our room. Some thug probably stole it. Who knows. But I would stay there again. If you want freedom over luxury at a good price this is your place. Enjoyed the pool and the lake view. If you want a good lake view make sure you get one of the rooms on the top level. The lack of bed bugs warmed my heart. Thank you Hawks nest!"

"Loved this hotel. We didn't spend much time there, but we were always happy to arrive in the evening. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel felt like it was located on the furthest end. Everything we wanted to do was a 15-20 minute ride (but we were on vacation, so who cares). They could benefit from at least one more restaurant option and maybe cheaper coffee. However, we really enjoyed our time and would happily stay at this hotel...
