"Upon checking in we were placed in a room next the elevator and ice machine even though we requested to not be placed there. We upgraded for an additional cost. This caused a large billing error which upon calling the resort was resolved. Housekeeping was very inconsistent. Towels removed but not replaced. Coffee not replaced. One day no one showed up. Had to ask at desk for these things. Lacked paying attention to details such as no chairs outside sliding glass doors, bathtub had remnants of what was possibly a bath mat stuck to it, no place to hang towels or wet bathing suits besides one hook in bathroom, no lid on ice bucket ( was told they don’t have lids but other rooms did), bathroom door was impossible to close as it was a slider but did not have a bottom track or a deep enough indent to grab door so door just pushed out, bathroom door partially painted. One other thing was the parking. Most nights, we had to park in the third lot which is a construction lot. When an event is held, the attendees park in the same lots that the resort guests are paying to park in.
On a positive note, Andrea at the reception desk was very helpful as well as Andre by the pool. They deserve a
thank you. The outdoor area was beautiful and we had no problems getting a seat by the pool. Upgrades in the room were nice."
