"Breakfast was excellent, with many options. The room was big, but had an odd layout. There was a sofa in the entry room and a wardrobe. Buy in the bedroom, not a single chair...only 2 small night stands. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Another oddity is spa use. It's available by reservation for 30 minutes and you need to pick up the key at the front desk. I went down at my time and she told me the guy had not returned the key. So, we went up together and she gave me the key and told me to return in a few minutes when the guy left. So by the time I entered it was 15 minutes into my 30. So, I literally soaked for 12, which gave me time to dry off and return the key to the desk for the next reservation. It's a stupid protocol."

There is something so magical about being surrounded by the Pyrenees, and having such a reliable and comfortable home base made the experience even better.I cannot recommend Comtes d'Urgell enough to anyone visiting the area. Between the top-tier service, the pristine rooms, and the perfect location, it exceeded all my expectations. "Great breakfast, very friendly staff and good location (right across from the Caldea spa and a 5 minute walk to the touristy area). We stayed here for a weekend and had a great time. The bathrooms in the rooms could use an update but that is a very minor complaint."

"Slope access was excellent ski in ski out. Receptionist was Brill and sorted out an issue upon arrival with great skill. It's quite a steep walk up and down to shops and bars so be prepared for that."
