We arrived the day before flying home to find a beautiful boutique hotel. The room was fantastic and the bathroom modern and clean. There really isn't much to do or see in the surrounding area, but that just gives you a good excuse to unwind and enjoy the facilities available at the hotel. Everything about this hotel was fantastic! Staff and service was excellent. Staff were attentive and anticipated our needs without being intrusive. Facilities were of a high standard and included everything we needed. The outdoor pool was exceptionally enjoyable. WiFi was excellent - both in the room and at the pool. It’s worth booking a club Horizon room as the lounge is worth every penny.

Located just far enough out of Colombo to be quiet, yet can easily walk to Galle Face Green if you wish. The hotel is clean and staff are great. Plenty food and beverage options at reasonable prices or try Galle Road for street food. Take the free shuttle to the beach lounge for a swim in the sea or just relax on the sea front. The roof pool is busier than the beach lounge but still always room available. High Tea was very good and the Tides buffet was super.

Staff was very welcoming and hospitable. Particularly The chef Don Philip, Kanchana the executive in the F&B team who went beyond their best to delight us during our long stay at the hotel. Irfan, in the room service team in 16th floor put lot of effort in keeping our apartment clean and tidy every day during our stay.

Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous swim up room. Staff brought dinner and breakfast to my room. Picked me up from airport and allowed a very early check in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at Orion City Hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and WiFi worked well. Hot water was plentiful. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our meal in the hotel restaurant. The location was great for us- we were able to walk to the R Premadasa stadium.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, excellent locally sourced food, a great environment policy and the amazing 100m swimming pool. Its not a family hotel as such, however there was a babysitting service and a good choice of food for children. The pool is 4m deep (no 'shallow end' although there are steps). The suites have a twin room suitable for children. No beach, although limited watersports on the lagoon.

Beautiful hotel, great service, very friendly staff! The pool was amazing and with a beautiful view. Hotel is fairly new so everything is still in great condition, hopefully it stays that way for years to come! Highly recommend this hotel!
