"We had a really nice stay at this hotel. It is located about 1 mile from the train station, which might feel a bit far for some, but it is a straightforward, flat walk along the street and sidewalks, so it wasn't an issue for us at all. We actually loved the walk because it took us past several great local grocery and clothing shops. If you accidentally forget your winter gear, check out a nearby store called KiK—it offers excellent value on warm clothing!
The Rooms & Amenities
The hotel and rooms are remarkably clean, quiet, and well-soundproofed, which gave us a great night's sleep. The rooms feature working A/C (just make sure your window is completely closed, as there is a sensor that shuts the A/C off if it's open!). They also gladly provide an iron upon request.
The only downside to the room was the TV. It is small, outdated, and lacks smart functions, meaning you can't stream apps like Netflix. Because of this, almost everything available to watch is in German.
Dining & Staff
They do offer a breakfast buffet, but at nearly $19 (€18) per person, it seemed quite overpriced, so we chose to skip it.
The staff here is wonderful, though their primary language is German, which can occasionally make communication a little challenging. A special shout-out to the housekeeper (we unfortunately forgot her name!)—she was incredibly sweet.
