"The positives were location, comfortable beds, air conditioning and a very helpful staff. You are right in the middle of town and walk-able to everything. This is an old hotel as I first stayed here over 40 years ago. The two down sides were the small pool, which had 8 boys jumping in and out and made it hard for me and my friend to just enjoy swimming in it. They were unattended by adults and no staff ever came to check what was going on. The other down side is there is not an elevator. I didn't remember that and being older, it was hard to lug our suitcases and other stuff up those steps. That will be a consideration on staying there again. The location, staff and a great complimentary breakfast made it worth it though. I would recommend it if not having an elevator is not an issue for you."
