"Bouceel Castle was a splurge stay for my wife and I but we only planned on staying 1 night in this area and it was well worth it. We were so impressed with our room, our view, the grounds, the decor... it was a shame we only booked one night. "We had a lovely stay at La Jacotière! It’s a great location, quiet and private feeling while also being walking distance to Mont St Michel (and even closer to the bus stop, if you want to skip the walk). Véronique was very kind and helpful, breakfast was great (the local Camembert cheese is incredible!), and the room was comfortable. Absolutely recommend!"

"Rooms are above a Tabac which closes at 7pm (9pm on a Friday). You get the key for the bar/shop which you go through to access the back stairs to the rooms, taking care not to trigger the alarm behind the counter - it’s very loud!! No other bars/restaurants in the village; nearest “life” is in Combourg although there is a fabulous boulangerie across the square."

"WOW, I can't say enough! If you want a perfect place to use as a home base for exploring bretagne, this is it. This second floor room is spacious, clean, safe and comfortable. The living room is tastefully decorated. The location is on the edge of a small village a few kilometers from the highway, close enough to be convenient, but with no traffic or noise. He gave us some excellent recommendations about the local area. Christophe prepared a delicious and generous breakfast for us in the morning. We felt right at home at his accommodation!
