Vale do Lobo Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Apartment 848, clean and spacious. What was a really nice touch arriving after 10pm was fresh bread, butter, jam and milk. Thank you! Wifi in apartment n restaurants. Close to the Tennis club but we choose to use our breakfast voucher in the Doce cafe which was a 1k walk, which was lovely but u can use the resort shuttle taxi. The 3 staff in Doce were brilliant each morning, Fantastic cocktails in beach club too, it was quiet in October but great music by DJ pool water is cool but refreshing! We enjoyed watching the tennis & Paddle and would definitely book if we were back. The beach is flawless and lovely to watch the golfers. Really nice wide spread resort, the hire car was handy when we decided to eat off site."

"Breakfast, pool area, view and location were excellent. Front desk also top notch. Only complaint was service during dinner. We asked if they could fit us in and they said they were going to be full at 8:00 but agreed to seat us at 7:00. We were right on time, ordering took about 15 minutes even though they were almost empty. Big tour arrives at 8:00 and we hadn’t seen our waiter in 45 minutes. Finally after an hour I complained to another waiter and they apologized and provided a free glass of wine. Dinner arrived at 8:20. One entree was great, the other was baaad (the pasta). Overall hotel was very good, just the one (well, actually 2) hiccup."

"Views were amazing every angle of this property, very clean - loved our balcony. Breakfast was great! Lots of parking, 10 minute walk into town for dinners and conveniently located in the Algarve from day trips to other areas."

"This place was great. The staff were super friendly. The Hotel was perfect location to reach everything we wanted to reach. We had a rental car which opened us to explore what the local scene had to offer. Beaches, Night markets, Supermarkets, Late night local Ice creams shops, Festivals, the lot! Underground parking was excellent at keeping the car cool. Rental towels (10 euro Cash deposit each) were very convenient as we were travelling very light. The Aqua Park was great fun. Be sure to check your child's height. 140cm + gets you full access to everything. Sub 120cm excludes some of the rollercoasters and big slides. Sub 110cm excludes a lot of the slides. Only a few Kiddy slides left to explore. A quick 5 min walk to the park. Wrist bands get you straight it. You will have to leave your stuff unattended if you plan on moving around the park as a family. Or you can rent a locker for 10euro per day. But everyone leaves their stuff on the grassed area and there seems to be a level of trust amongst everyone. We left our towels, phones and flip flops and never had anything missing."
