"Very nice place to stay before our cruise"

"The hotel is a bit of a hostel. Each apartment has one room that will sleep one or two people my first night. I had a wonderful double bed with a wonderful duvet. The balance of my stay I shared with a group member. The other room has bunk beds and sleeps 8? There is a full kitchen tea and mate and instant coffee are provided. The building is cute. And is an inexpensive Uber ride from downtown I think each trip was three or four dollars. For my purposes, it was absolutely perfect."

"We had a brilliant stay at La vela. Everything was great: easy check in, huge apartment which was clean and comfy with everything you need, great location close to buses and town. We would recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay, we wish we had longer!"
