"Good stay for a fair price including good breakfast."

"It was in the center of town and close to the things we wanted to do. My negative was that there is no A/C in the rooms and apparently they don't use wash cloths, we used a hand towel to bathe. "

"This is a great, modern hostel, easily accessible by bus from La Vella. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there are also restaurants nearby. "

"Chambres très grandes et balcon agréable; pour le reste, pas vraiment le niveau d'un 4*: pas de clim (il a fait très chaud pendant notre séjour, et nous avons eu chaud la nuit malgré la fenêtre grande ouverte), peu d'articles d'hygiène (2 bonnets de douche, 2 x 3 mouchoirs), non renouvelés quand on s'en est servi!. Overall a bit disapponted with the service, asked 4 times to get towels everytime they say its coming and it still doesnt come. Had to go down to reception to tell them, as jist get told lies on the phone. "We have stayed at Xalet Verdu for short stays on several occasions and different seasons. It´s a no-frills but comfortable place to stay. The rooms have always been very clean and in good condition. The buffet meals are not extensive in choice but are very good value. The hotel is at the top of the village and is a short walk from restaurants, cafes and bars, shops and the gondola ski-lift to the Pal-Arinsal section of the Vallnord ski area. "Staff was very friendly and concerned. Best breakfast I’ve had on this 2 month trip. Good location for the off season and would be a great location during the ski season!! Don’t hesitate- we’ll worth the stay!!"

"It was a great stay. The reception is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was somewhat simple but OK. Room is spacious and has a view of the mountains. The only drawback in our room was the toilet seat had a small crack and it hurts a bit when you stand up."
