Unfortunately, this hotel fell short of expectations. At check-in, we had to wait for employees to finish smoking cigarettes before being helped, and our room had a strong smell of bug spray. The included breakfast was also disappointing. We considered it part of the value of the stay, but ended up eating out both mornings. The biggest issue was an interaction at the hot tub. An employee approached us aggressively, stating there were no food or drinks allowed, cameras everywhere, and a $250 fine, emphasizing that this was our “only warning.” We understand enforcing policies, but the approach was unnecessarily confrontational and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, especially with our two children present. A polite reminder would have been sufficient. I brought the issue to the manager at checkout and asked where the fines were stated, but he was unable to show me. He also did not apologize for the employee’s rude demeanor or acknowledge that the situation could have been handled better. Overall, it was a disappointing stay, and we will not be back or recommend this hotel.

Great property. A lot of the hotel rooms have balconies or outdoor seating so it was like having your own little outdoor patio with chairs. At the time of staying it was a heat wave going on so hanging outside of your hotel room at night was a awesome. Also the room we had had a standard kitchen with stove and full size fridge. Very nice for the price.

Never stayed at a Choice chain hotel before. For the price, the stay was wonderful. They state that they have a commitment to sanitizing rooms between stays. And I couldn't find anything that wasn't nice and clean. Being an older motel the popcorn ceiling had even been replaced with knockdown. I was impressed. I would go back.

Check-in is at four and they couldn’t get us in until 4:30 PM. When we got in the room smelled like wet dog and it was super humid. There was also a dog across the hall that marked all day and all night. The hairdryer did not work.
