"The hotel was like a Holliday inn. I was clean and efficient. What really sets this place apart is the restaurant and staff. The Food is exceptional and the staff are SO nice. Our server came and made sure the whole restaurant knew that the northern lights were dancing. The whole place cleared out in 5 min. lol. It was the best!! The food is so great. Worth every cent!"

"Ekra Glacier Lagoon was a really nice place for us to stay near Jökulsárlón and Diamond Beach. The setting was gorgeous with a bunch of waterfalls right behind our room! It's set back away from the road, so it was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was super comfortable and had firm and soft pillows to choose from. The room was clean and had a mini fridge, kettle, french press, with coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit the South Coast of Iceland....
