"Friendly staff. Big room with a great view. Bed extremely uncomfortable. They charged a security deposit of $250 which is unusually high."

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise for the room decor, in room amenities, etc. But the negatives were the overpriced parking costs and also the location. The vagrants, homeless, drug addicts all around the entrance, alley ways, public areas in front of the hotel were disgusting. They even keep the main door locked cause of all the issues. Venice beach in general is disgusting. They really need to clean up that area to be charging those kind of prices."

"Great location, 5 min walk to Venice beach,clean enough, maintenance guys was always around but no desk as such. Only real disappointing thing was shower pressure and could hear noise from neighbours and main street."

"No beach view from room was disappointing. Kitchen was good. Bed was small. People floor above us woke us up every morning with loud walking (no insulation between floors)."

"The bathroom and kitchen was pretty nice. The lobby smelled like there was a plumbing issue (waste water smell). The walls are paper thin and since our room was immediately opposite the lobby entrance we could hear every single guest coming and going including a group that arrived at 1am. The property is located next to subsidized living and there were homeless people swearing and yelling all night. I suggest you stay closer to Santa Monica if you want a better experience."

"Choose this hotel due to its proximity to LAX, Free shuttle to and from airport. Although we only spend the night, it was a great choice. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and they had great late food options available."

"Shuttle didn’t leave on time and was unpredictable - reception didn’t want to help and “explained” it’s a contractor. I almost missed my flight!"

"Property was nice however, the air was not working that great in the room so we were a little hot all night. Also this is the first hotel I have been in with NO window!! This was the worst part. The room was dark and I didn’t like it. However they have a nice pool on the roof top, and the hotel was really clean."

"Breakfast eggs taste not real. Shuttle can not be reach because the only care about reservations and when finally able to contact front desk via iPhone ai voice does not connect you to the front desk and when pressing 4 for shuttle only gives you info not actual call for shuttle"

"The mandatory, no option but to take it or leave it 20% tip on the restaurant bill makes this hotel a place I will not return to.Tipping is supposed to be a reward for exceptional service, not a subsidy for the employer."

"Close to sofi and the free shuttle from LAX was great. Room was clean and check-in/out was easy. Drawback was that there was no room service"
