Venice Lido hotel guide. A&O Hostels hotel in Venice Lido, Venice

Hotel Reiter is a great hotel, it’s very clean and the staff are really helpful and friendly and go out of their way to help. It’s very close to the beach and there is cycle hire available a few doors down, great for exploring the lido. There is also a discount in the hotel bar/restaurant available for guests. We would recommend hotel Reiter to anyone wanting to stay on the lido, it’s easy to get into Venice on the water bus, the station is very close to the hotel. Thank you to all of the staff,...

So good, I wanted to pack up and leave London!

Stylish and elegant rooms. Kind and helpful staff. A little ways out of Venice and in a quiet neighbourhood.

Hotels in a great location with close transport links to venice city, and only 10 minutes walk to lido beach. Staff very friendly and attentive. Room was very comortable, good selection on breakfast. At the top of the hotel there is a triple deck roof terrace with fantastic views. I would highly recommend.

lovely hotel great views of venice nice helpful staff

Villa Ines was a real hidden gem. In a quiet area within 5 minutes walk of the ferry port, so that you can easily explore any part of Venice. A beautiful building, inside and out. Delicious breakfast, you can eat inside, or in the superbly landscaped garden. The owner and all staff were very helpful and a pleasure to talk to - in multiple languages! Would stay again and recommend! Very tempted by the cooking classes should I return to Venice.

I booked this hotel for an Easter break with my wife and 15 year old son mainly because it looked nice and it was a good distance from the centre of Venice. The hotel is situated on the Island of Lido which is about a 20 minute boat taxi journey to St Marks Square (but you can get off earlier after about 7 minutes onto the island of Venice itself and walk to St Marks Square). The hotel was very clean, the room was clean with fresh towels daily. The mattress was very clean and comfortable and...

Our first time in Venice, and we found this hotel was ideal, situated across the road from the water transport hub. The room was clean and comfortable, overlooking the lagoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast food was of good quality, and the hotel was clean throughout.

Great staff , clean environment , adequate room facilities , proper breakfast , excellent service , brilliant location 5 minute walk from vaporettos , restaurants and supermarket, wifi .

Lovely hotel on the lido, easy to get to and from with the regular bus for the water buses to the centre of Venice. Room was quiet and big enough with a view of the beach ⛱️ staftt were friendly and polite. The breakfast for us was enough, standard continental affair.

This was our third visit to The Riviera and our reasons for returning was the excellent service and accommodation previously provided. On this occasion we discovered that our booking didn't include a room with a balcony - important for my wife's need for easily accessible fresh air. After making our concerns known the Manager Piero Padovar make a phone call to me in the hotel and said that we could move room the next night - at a very reasonable additional charge. We also discovered a bottle...

Lovely hotel, really friendly staff who showed us where everything was, which water bus to get etc. Close to what is a lovely seaside style resort so restaurants, ice cream, beach etc. within 10 minutes walk. Only minus is that the bedroom was very hot at night so difficult to sleep.

We have stayed twice here and enjoyed the quiet of the Lido after the bustle of Venice. The hotel is opposite the Vaparetto station so we were in Venice within minutes, The Staff were welcoming and helpful and the continental breakfast was fine. The rooms were clean and comfortable ..this is a small quiet hotel which serves its purpose. There are lots of places to eat nearby often much more reasonably priced than the eateries in Venice itself. This hotel is not at all sophisticated but is...

Loved the quiet clean room with great bed. Shame the coffee machines were always not working properly whilst we were there.

This hotel is perfect for staying on the Lido and access to the main island by water bus and water taxi. There are some nice restaurants (avoid the Chinese 2 roads away from hotel, no taste and no meat in the crispy beef.)

Excellent location, very good staff giving us advice on where to go. Telling us the best deals on travel over to Venice mainland

Brill staff...great location...I was on my own..i felt safe...nice room..nice breakfast. I want to go back. X

It is a lovely traditional hotel, very clean and full of character. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located near main street and everything is within a walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the hotel, definitely would choose it again.

They were very helpful in anything you ask. This was a top hotel for my needs. Shower was spot on. And a lttle fridge ful of beer or soft drinks and ok priced. We will be using again later this year.

Hotel was comfortable, staff helpful and very conveniently situated. It was five minutes from the Water bus and five minutes from the beach. Local restaurants available. Breakfast supplied was what is expected for continental. Would stay again. Had an e-mail from hotel after booking to welcome us and to check times of arrival etc. very helpful.
