The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was very clean, the breakfast offered was very good. Alphonso and Giuseppe were always willing to assist us with local directions and offering advice on local tours. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Vico Equense area. It sits right on the sea and the view is spectacular.

A cute lil boutique hotel in a small seaside town. The staff was amazing and gave great recommendations and overall service. It was clean and quiet. The room felt a lil sparse and could use some redecorating to maximize the space and needed an upgrade, in terms of the furniture. The bathroom was big, the shower was awesome and loved the vibe lights, but needed more counter space. We’d have liked a bigger tv. It was very small and placed off to the side of the room. The balcony was beautiful and we loved our sea view! The breakfast buffet was decent, mostly pastries. Transportation in the area was difficult but the staff was helpful with the trains and bus routes. Overall, a great stay.

We had a lovely stay. Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with modern furnishing, well equipped kitchen, clean and well maintained. There was no parking on site so we had to park at the St Antonio camp site a few hundred meters away. Not too much of an issue. Unfortunately, the sea was too rough to swim during our stay. The location was good as Seiano is much quieter and Vico Equense is a short hike uphill (uneven stone steps). Sorrento is around a 30min drive during the peak summer season and I don’t recommend Positano unless you’re willing to head out very early and battle for very limited parking spots!

This hotel is one of the best we have ever visited! Such an amazing experience! Great location, close to the sea and marina. Beautiful and charming house with only 8 rooms. The friendly service is excellence from Alfonso and his team. And the beachclub is really a bonus, just a few steps away. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone looking a ”home away from home”! These guys have become my family. They are the best!! This is my second time amongst my now annual yearly trips there. I highly recommend you stay here if you visit the Amalfi coast and definitely look no further. From their hospitality to their views, you won’t be disappointed, trust me. They are in the perfect location and lots of amenities in and around the property. Restaurants right outside the door, boat rides to any destination along the Amalfi cost, beaches and clubs, easy to get to the train for transport, literally everything!! Alfonso, their concierge, is amazing and I can’t stress it enough! He helps you and directs you to all the right places in the Amalfi and is very knowledgeable. Nella (my Nella Bella) their chef, is an amazing cook and baker! She’s such a doll and takes good care of you to make sure you start your mornings off right! Francesco, Giuseppe and all of their staff is just amazing and go above and beyond for you! I love them and you will too! La familia Palazzo Murrano, ciao for now! ❤️

The room was large, comfortable and had everything needed. A few nice restaurants within walking distance. Only downside was being isolated from everything. A difficult and very long walk up to Vico Equenses for shopping, restaurants and to the train. The hotel shuttle was non existant. The private beach and marina were closed due to it being "low season".

The hotel was very clean & the staff was extremely friendly. The marina area had about 10 places to choose from as far as food. There were two public beaches & the beach club as options for swimming. The breakfast was on the roof & had a good assortment of things to eat. The view from the room was great. There was a bus to bring you to town but it was very unreliable. They helped us arrange our ferry transfer to our next stop. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at the Palazzo Murrano was completely perfect. The hotel has brilliant views right by the sea and a handful of incredible restaurants right by the front door. Vico equense is a beautiful town and a great place to stay to see this special part of Italy. Alfonso was brilliant, he was in contact since we booked our stay and was full of recommendations for what to do and where to eat, he did everything he could to make sure we had a wonderful time and made us both feel very welcome. Nella put together a delicious breakfast every morning and everyone working at the hotel was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were having a great holiday. The only thing that would have improved it is if we could have stayed for longer!

Nice hotel, and the staff is excellent.

Would give 10/10 if the Murrano Mare was still open. With it closed it is really not a beach resort of any kind. Actually no sun other than on the roof top breakfast. Nice restaurants in the area, but some of them closed for one or more days during the week. Probably because of the late season. (October). All in all a good experience, and probably Even better in peak season.

We were immediately impressed by the message from management at Palazzo Murrano upon booking our trip. It was welcoming and informative. And the quick response to our questions, offering suggestions to make the best of our week on the Amalfi coast made us realize we made the perfect choice for our vacation! When we arrived (using the transportation they arranged), we were greeted and taken immediately to our room, the Amalfi Suite. The room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The balcony was beautiful, with views of the coast, and Vesuvius in the distance. We then went to breakfast, and was greeted by Nella with an espresso, fresh pastries, eggs, and more in the breakfast area on the 4th floor. She was there every morning at 7:30am to greet us with a smile! The entire staff was so friendly, and Alphonso the manager was always available to help. He arranged transportation to the local train station (10mins to Sorrento, 25mins to Pompeii, 60mins from Naples), booked our boat trip to Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi, and so much more. This resort is close to numerous local restaurants, their own pier that has sun chairs, food, and drinks, and is a great central location to see the Amalfi Coast! In a week we were able to visit Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Positano, Amalfi, and Pompeii. If you are looking for an intimate setting with excellent service and accomodations, this is the perfect place!

We booked Palazzo Murrano after reading the trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed with our choice! What a lovely boutique hotel, very spacious, clean and bright rooms with lovely sea views. Situated on the harbour it gives easy access to buses, ferries and some lovely restaurants. It also has Murrano Mare a beach area to relax and sun bathe with a restaurant and waiter service- wonderful! The very best part of our stay however were the staff at the hotel. Alfonso is a superb host, he was in contact with us via email soon after we booked our stay to help and advise on trips to book and places to visit . He welcomed us on arrival and showed us around and gave us all of the information we needed. He had already booked 2 full day trips with a driver ( Libero) to visit Herculaneum, Pompeii and a super wine tasting at Russo wines (day 1) and Ravello, the Emerald cave and lunch at a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea. ( day 2 )Libero was a brilliant driver/guide who was very personable and provided great insight into local life. He ensured our 2 days were very relaxed and stress free. We would definitely recommend his services. Alfonso was always on hand to suggest and arrange trips. We felt very looked after at all times thanks to Alfonso. We must also mention Nella who provided a wonderful array of breakfast options every morning which we enjoyed on the roof terrace. Thank you so much Alfonso and all at Palazzo Murrano for giving us an unforgettable stay.

The Palazzo Murano is a jewel in the shoreline part of Vico Equense. Situated opposite Vico Mare (the main pier), and nestled in the nook of the mountain, the rooms are fabulous; pretty, modern, clean, and comfortable. The linens were clean, and the towels were fluffy and clean. Compared to bigger cities, the lower part of Vico Equense is quiet with just the right mixture of nearby restaurants, pizza shops, gelato shops, and convenient transportation. The hotelier, Alphonse, is a marvelous host, providing transportation for us each of three days, with several drivers, at less than Uber rates. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. My wife and I highly recommend Palazzo Murrano, and Alphonse!

La chose la plus formidable de cette endroit c’est le service, le manager Alfonso fait tout son possible pour que vous ayez un séjour incroyable , il a même acheté un gâteau de fête pour ma femme. Si vous avez des demandes Alfonso sera là pour vous. Ce fût une lune de miel formidable merci Alfonso.
