This place is absolutely stunning. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. There is no dinner service but decent places to eat within a 5 minute drive. Only one minor complaint and that was the cheap towels. Otherwise 5*

Philippe was a welcoming and wonderful host. Even though we arrived a little later than planned, Philippe took the time to show us on the map where to go for dinner, showed us our room and the facilities and didn’t rush us in anyway. We had a wonderful week at La Bicyclette. The hosts, Richard and Yvonne were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. At the same time they are very professional and knowledgeable. This is an absolutely delightful little hotel with very warm and welcoming hosts, Vicky and Jean Luc, who went well out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. Our room was simply lovely and the breakfasts were fabulous with freshly squeezed orange juice, really good coffee and delicious croissants, fruit salads and yoghurts. We arrived after a very long journey and the welcome we received from Charlotte was amazing! She was so helpful and kind in making sure we had everything we needed! The accommodation was super clean and comfortable. And I don't know where to start with the homemade breakfast - we all ate so much as it was all really tasty and fresh. We will definitely stay here again when travelling through France!

Beautiful property. Wonderful host. Could not ask for more. We have stay in 8 hotels over three weeks of this holiday and this was the best bed and most comfortable.

Our one night stay at Château Picol was our first experience in a French Château. Our hosts served delicious food, which included local produce. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property is situated in the countryside, with its own swimming pool. The host is exceptionally helpful, capable and friendly. The breakfast, and the evening meal (extra), he provided was very good and used much local produce. The room itself was large, clean and well provided, while the walk-in shower and bathroom were very spacious. All in all, an excellent place to stay

The overall experience was good. The staff were very nice and willing to help. The hotel is very French which we liked but the carpet in our bedroom was very stiff hessian and therefore uncomfortable on bear feet The staircases 2 were very steep, very narrow and winding in my view not suitable for anyone with any kind of mobility issues. Breakfast was continental no meat or cheese but more than adequate. There is no restaurant facilities at the hotel however only a 5 minute walk is an IBIS...
