We stayed here for one night on New Year's Eve. The hostess is charming and the room was fabulous - beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We had a shared bathroom (also beautiful) but we were the only guests using it. Breakfast was great, and although our Italian is virtually non-existent we could make ourselves understood. The location is excellent for shops, banks and restaurants. The only strange arrangement is the parking - we were to meet someone at a preset location (easy to...

I had a lovely stay at B&B Umberto. Annalisa was very helpful and responsive. I used the recommended contact for airport transfer from Salerno which was cheaper than local taxis and very efficient. The room was very comfortable and clean. Location is perfect with lots of bars and restaurants and the local train station on your doorstep. The room was serviced daily. I enjoyed the morning coffee and pastry on the balcony. Great value for money, highly recommended. I will be back for my next Amalfi...

I stayed in the hotel relais paradiso the last week in August 2015. My friend and I shared a twin room with direct access to the pool from our little terrace. The hotel staff were very friendly and couldn't do more to help us. On 3 separate occasions we were brought fresh fruit to our sun loungers compliments of the hotel. By the end of the week they had memorised our breakfast coffees and had them on the table waiting for us by the time we had returned from the buffet. Breakfast was the...

We stayed here on a road trip through Italy, It was an amazing stay we had great communication with the host that told us in detail where we could park (a safe car park). The room itself was large and well supplied with towels and soap etc , clean and comfortable! We had an incredible view from the balcony and the pool area is very well kept and clean. It’s in the perfect location to go and see the Amalfi coast, it’s out of the busy areas and very peaceful. There is a great restaurant close...

The hotel is on the coast line and is lovely, rooms could do with a bit of updating. Staff friendly and can speak English. It’s a 15 minute walk up a hill to the town for restaurants and shops - buses don’t seem to run in the evenings. So maybe not a good choice if you have travellers with mobility concerns. Old town centre is very pretty. There is not much for kids to do though. Also, I didn’t take into account that the hotel charge for the ‘private beach’. It’s not actually a beach,...

Hotel is wonderful, location is excellent, staff and service perfect. Every room has great views over the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius, and also down the cliff to the marina grande below. Rooms are large and airy, with huge windows. All spotlessly clean, and cleaned thoroughly every day. The hotel is full of a range of high quality decorations and artefacts, many of them from the film industry in the 1960s and earlier. Hotel has large reception lounge and huge terrace with tables, chairs,...

The location of the property is one of the main features. Right in the heart of Amalfi without having to climb any of the narrow staircase alleys. The property is also very well maintained and clean. The only thing we didn't like about our room is that there wasn't a window facing outside. So I'd enquire about it before booking.
