"With having only eight rooms, this boutique hotel is amazing. We arrived (from Lisbon by train) early so popped in to drop our luggage. Although we were earlier than 3pm, our room was ready so we were able to check-in. Staff are incredibly polite and even gave us a brief history of the building, whilst escorting us to the room. "Our suite was very comfortable for 3 of us. Plenty of room. Very quiet and private. We liked the upstairs lounge area. The staff were really helpful and nothing too much trouble. I loved the Claus Porto toiletries. The food in the hotel restaurant, Pot and Pan is fantastic. Fine dining at very fair prices. I would love to come back to this stylish haven. "
